"AIADMK is trying to divert the Kodanadu murder cum heist issue" says K. Balakrishnan, CPM State Secretary

"The ruling AIADMK is categorically diverting the attention of the people from Kodanad murder and heist case by finding fault with opposition parties", said K. Balakrishnan, CPM State Secretary.

"The ruling AIADMK is categorically diverting the attention of the people from Kodanad murder and heist case by finding fault with opposition parties", said K. Balakrishnan, CPM State Secretary.

Briefing the media at the District party headquarters here, the CPM State Secretary slammed that "Instead of answering to the shocking revelations in Kodanadu murder cum heist case which have surfaced recently, the Chief Minister is diverting the issue by finding fault with the media and opposition parties".

"The CM should step down and order a CBI inquiry into the issue to bring out the facts to the world“, K. Balakrishnan urged.

While blaming, Prime Minister Modi for not respecting the Supreme Court verdict in Sabarimala issue, K. Balakrishnan observed that PM who sworn in after taking oath on the spirit of Indian constitution should not express his options against it which would set a bad precedent.

“CPM National General Secretary, Sitaram Yechury would take part in the meeting on January 22 and 23 organized in Tirunelveli and Tiruchy by the Viduthalai Chiruthaigal Katchi.” K. Balakrishnan noted.

Speaking at the event, CPM Politbureau member G.Ramakrishnan noted that "CPM would not take part in the meeting organized by Mamata Banerji as the alliances are state-specific and CPM would oppose Mamata in West Bengal".

"However, the opposition's aim is to defeat BJP and oust it from power. Thereby help secular parties to ride back to power in the nation", G. Ramakrishnan said.
